Welcome to Jefferson Beach Estates.

Established in 1969, Jefferson Beach Estates Community, Inc. (or JBE), is a community of 300+ homes on the shores of Puget Sound. Originally established as a planned retirement/recreational community for those seeking clean air, pristine beaches, fishing, and a relaxing, rural environment, JBE has grown to include young families, seniors, commuters, individuals and couples who are happy to have found one of the last, best environments in the West Sound area.

A highlight of ownership in JBE includes access to our parks, along with our private 1/4 mile of beach along the beautiful Puget Sound waterfront and the 280 foot pier that boasts some of the best fishing on the Sound. The beach is named Hal's Landing in honor of the late Hal Thwing (a longtime JBE resident responsible for many improvements at the beach over the years and is a great place for a stroll or just sitting to take in the spectacular views.

Just up the access road from the beach is Mavis Olson Community Park. The park was so named for the energetic Mavis Olson (another late longtime JBE resident) who for years coordinated and staged the Annual Easter Egg Hunt for our younger residents, a tradition that continues today (held the day before Easter each year).
